Of wounds and scars.

Life hurts and we get hurt in life.

From falls to scratches, from accidents to surgeries, we all have scars, with stories, to show for it.

Some disappear because they are smaller or less deep, others stay for life. Some can even hurt for years, while others take a long time to heal because they are not treated and become infected.

In emotions, the same thing: we make wounds and have scars that accompany us throughout our lives.

Many heal, but marks remain. We know them, we know what caused them, but they no longer hurt.

More difficult are those that do not heal, those that infect and, no matter how much we try and heal, do not disappear and can spread, contaminating everything around us until we can no longer ignore them.

Healing wounds does not mean that you forget their origin, no, you need to know what happened in order to treat it, and give time for the wound to recover, slowly, from the inside out, until it heals.

Maybe we will hurt again in the same place, or it may even hurt again, but we already know what to do, after all, we already know the process to recover.
